K-PALLETE REAL LASTING EYELINER IN SUPER BLACK REVIEW

I've been wanting this eyeliner for so long but due to its sophisticated price point, I've had second, third, fourth thoughts before I bought one. This is THE well-known eyeliner from Japan. You can see this being used over magazine shoots, celebrity makeup kit what's-in my-bag sort of thing editorials and is in the honor roll for most-loved eyeliners in beauty blogs.

DETAILS:
K-PALLETE REAL LASTING EYELINER
Color: Super Black (there's also a brown variant)
Available at: Beauty Bar Stores (got mine at Greenbelt, Makati)
Price: Php 795
PS: Excuse the pic, it's me after Pilates/Yoga, you know how it is. ☺

CMK HAPPY THOUGHTS:
If your eyes are like mine, then we have the same challenge. MAKE. OUR. EYES. POP! 0.0
And what's the best way to do that? Eyeliners, correct! K-Pallete has a promise of a 1-day eyeliner tattoo (that's removable, of course). By far, I am happy with the product's staying power. Also, SUPER BLACK is an appropriate color title. It's blacker than black, ehmm, if there's such a thing.

Some are having a hard time removing the substance, but in fairness, I didn't. I'm alternately using BIFIESTA BRIGHTUP CLEANSING WASH (Review will be up soon) and ETUDE HOUSE EYE AND LIP MAKEUP REMOVER (Review HERE). Both are amazing in terms of its makeup removal prowess.

CMK WISHFUL THOUGHT:
I've had one realization when I've used this for the first time. I have oily lids. Honk. I've attended a reunion lunch with my cousins and when I gleaned over a mirror, there's this black stardust on my eye bags. 0.0 The product is settling down on my lids over time :(

However, I have found a workaround. Use primers! When I did, no more smudges or unwanted stardust. I'm still trying to use up my PALLADIO PRIMER to date. Technically, it's not an eye primer but it does the job quite well. Primer does wonders! I'm a believer :)

CMK THINKS:
If you're looking for a quality eyeliner, this fits the bill quite perfectly. And again, if you'll do the math and spread the cost over time, you'll find that the benefits still outweigh the cost. Okay, that's the end of my cost benefit analysis. If it makes you happy plus you have the means, splurge a LOTTLE. Say what? Here's some picture slash cheese balls.

Update (2015) - After using the product for quite a while, I've found out that this product is not for oily lids. It flakes and smudges and gives me panda / racoon eyes. Maybe that's just me, but unfortunately this is my true to life experience. :( -CMK
