3 Places To Add To Your Travel Bucketlist

Now is the perfect time to start working on your 2023 travel plans. Whether you’re stepping on a plane for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, or prepping to explore hidden gems around the world - there are always reasons why you should travel. After all, travelling gives you a chance to learn more about the world, but also yourself. It provides you with a reprieve from the stress of everyday life, giving you the chance to clear your head. Finally, it gives you the chance to make lifelong memories, whether you’re travelling solo or with loved ones!

With that in mind, here are three stunning destinations you should add to your travel bucket list.

Hua Hin, Thailand.

Hua Hin is one of Thailand’s most picturesque and stunning seaside resorts. However, unlike other tourist hotspots in Thailand, such as Bangkok, it provides visitors with a much more peaceful introduction to Thailand. While staying at one of the many luxury resorts in hua hin, you can enjoy delicious Thai food, soak up the sunshine, or take a dip in the crystal blue ocean. In the evening, you can explore the world-famous night market, whether you’re looking to buy some mementoes to take home or further satisfy your tastebuds. If you’re looking to learn more about spirituality, you could visit one of the seven stunning temples in Hua Hin, such as Wat Hua Hin, which also doubles as a monastery, or Wat Huay Mongkol, which is a Buddhist temple. Wat Huay Mongkol, also features the largest Buddha statue of Luang Phor Tua.

Ios, Greek Island.

The Greek Islands welcome thousands upon thousands of visitors each year, and while they are all worth a visit - none shine quite so bright as Ios. Located in the Cyclades region, Ios is a true gem of a destination. For example, it combines the quiet, tranquil beaches of some of the lesser-visited islands with the nightlife of the more vibrant ones. This means it's perfect for those looking for a holiday that contains a mixture of partying and relaxing. Furthemore, the island is on the cheaper side, especially when compared to islands such as Mykonos or Santorini. As the Island is relatively small, you can travel between the different beaches or award-winning restaurants via bus, or even by hiking. Alternatively, you could step out of your travel comfort zone and hire a moped.

Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Argentine capital is another must-visit location. While it's a great spot for football lovers, there’s plenty for everyone to see and do during your time in Buenos Aires. For example, you could take a stroll through Puerto Madero, a dockside area known for hosting a range of delicious restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Alternatively, you could visit one of the many areas of natural beauty within the capital. Either way, you are in for a treat - just be sure to try plenty of empanadas during your trip - you won’t regret it. In fact, you’ll be left wishing you could pack some away in your suitcase to bring home with you!
