You know what's one of the many perks during cold weather? It's the staying power of your makeup. It makes primer mostly unnecessary during this time of year. Now that it's 6 degrees in London, I find that I don't need to layer products as much. Layering is good for clothes not for skin. Allowing our skin to breath {read: no heavy makeup} is a healthy habit. Do that at least twice a week. You'll see the difference.

I was waiting for my friend exactly one week as I type this when I passed by Boots {think of it as Watsons in the PH}. I suddenly recall that I need to buy a night cream as I didn't bring one with me. I was torn between Olay and Ponds but the former won. To be fair, I am an avid Pond's Facial Wash user {and till now I am}. It's just that my skin is so hiyang in Olay plus I just had a freaky breakout. Can't risk to have that again :)

+ It's a bit thick... which I appreciate only when it's cold. I like it when a lather clasps on my face hydrating it thoroughly. Tip: After your facial wash routine, whilst your skin is still damp, apply a generous amount.
+ It's pocket friendly. Costing GBP 4.00 (around Php 300) for 50 ml is a good deal. Tip: Make sure you are buying stuff that you intend to buy. Sometimes the logo NIGHT or DAY cream is tricky that you may end up with one while you're intending to get the other.
+ That classic Olay smell signals my brain that it's time for bed.

+ Packaging. Might be nice if the logo on the pot is not in sticker format, but with such a price and substance, who can complain, really? :)

This product is promising. I've been using it for a week now and I noticed my pimple scars are fading slowly and pores are closing in like they want to be in an incognito mode. Woohoo. I think I'll continue to use it until I hit pan. I also tried another product from Nivea that has the same consistency, HERE's my review. -CMK
