DECEMBER 2: WINTER WONDERLAND

It has been our Christmas tradition to visit Winter Wonderland each year. I remember Christmas 2015 when I first set my foot in this magical place with guess who? Gab! This was actually our third date when we took our first picture together so it goes without saying that this is a happy place for the both of us. It was only this year that we've enjoyed this place like never before, thanks to tip number 1!

1. Ride at least one attraction ride. We tried the anchor's away (ship) one and when we came back with a different set of friends we went full on! I can't describe how it feels when you're up in the air, stomach's churning, fearing for your own dear life but then logically thinking that beside you are a bunch of five-year-olds having the time of their lives. This is a sure fire way to forget all your woes, guaranteed! 2. Indulge your taste buds. My top picks are: pulled pork bap (switch the bap with caramelised onions), bratwurst sausage with sauerkraut and strawberries with Belgian milk chocolate. 3. Bundle up! Temperature seem to drop especially if you're planning to visit in the evening so make sure you're in your proper winter attire. Wear flat shoes as well. 4. Bring cash. Most shops accepts contactless cards but some don't. Like when we wanted to try the chimney cake, they said they only accept cash. Good thing we have our friends with cash to save the night! 5. Take advantage of the portable toilets. Winter wonderland is like a maze. They have portable loos so I suggest if you see one, pee even if you are not desperate! Chances are, when you really need it, it's going to be on the other side of Hyde park! Teehee. -CMK
